i used to think that the colored records were pretty awesome. but then i realized that there are sooo many other things that can be done with vinyl. i love when people put a little bit of extra thought into things they do, especially album art. this is a list of untraditional vinyl records. because i think they’re cool.

this is my eyeball. i went out to go buy some candy (cut out during class) a few blocks up the street. i had no money with me, just my credit card so i didn’t want to use it for like, $2.00, so i check out the makeup section. i wanted some silver and some new black and found the sparkley-est silver/black eyeshadow set. not even any fancy expensive brand either. loreal high intensity pigments. they didn’t lie. they really are highly intense. the container thing was cool too. the makeup brush was hidden underneath in a secret little compartment.

they’re so fuuuuun. like dancey synthy punk rock with hilarious lyrics.

i just bought this cd today. seriously like an hour ago. and it’s awesome. grungy, low-fi, distorted guitars. and brody from the distillers. aaand it also has awesome artwork too. collages and stuff done by courtney riot. (hello new design inspiration!)

i saw electric six like uh… a week and a half ago. they played at this tiny place called the brillobox. there were maybe 100 or so people there. there were dance pits and the floor shook (we were on the second floor). they’re fun and you should go see them. millions of brazilians opened for them. they were also fun. and you should also go see them too. later, i’m going to see i set my friends on fire play with… some other bands. they’re too crazy to miss.
